
About Helen
Helen M Kimber is a mezzo-soprano from Arcata, California. She graduated with her MM in Vocal Performance at the University of Northern Colorado in May 2022. She also holds a BA in Vocal Performance from Humboldt State University in May 2020. She has always had a passion for music and has been performing since the age of 5. She has also recently found a passion for teaching and has started teaching voice and piano at Loveland Music Academy. Her most recent performance credits include Loveland Opera Theatre's Production of The Ballad of Baby Doe as chorus and covering Augusta Friend 1 and Friend 2, Polly in UNC's production of The Threepenny Opera, Fiordiligi in UNC’s production of Cosi Fan tutte, Die Schleppenträgerin in an online performance of Elektra hosted by Dramatic Voices Program, as well as many scenes including Ariadne auf Naxos (Ariadne), Le Nozze di Figaro (Countess), La Rondine (Suzy) and Die Zauberflöte (Pamina). Helen is looking forward to her continuing career in her teaching and performance, or wherever her career might take her next!
