Cancellation Policy

Payment Schedule: Payments must be made at the 1st lesson of each month. Late Fees: A late fee of $3.00 will be applied for each day payment is not received. Student Cancellations: The Student must provide at least 24 hours’ notice if they need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, with the exception of serious matters or urgent concerns (COVID, medical emergencies, family emergencies, etc.). The Student is entitled to three (3) free reschedules or cancellations without 24 hours' notice per calendar year. After the third occurrence, a late cancellation fee equivalent to fifty percent (50%) of the lesson fee will be applied for each additional instance. For illness, the instructor will offer lessons over zoom as well as recorded lessons. Instructor Cancellations: If the Instructor needs to cancel a lesson, they will provide as much notice as possible and reschedule at a mutually agreeable time. If no reschedule time can be found, the lesson will be refunded or credited towards the next lesson. No Shows: If a student no shows to a lesson without any prior communication, they will be charged for that lesson. 5. Zoom and Recorded Lessons Zoom Lessons: The Student may request a zoom lesson in lieu of an in person lesson for specific situations (i.e. illness, vacation, etc.). Instructor will send the Zoom Link after being notified. When on zoom, please be using a computer, with a good microphone and in a quiet location to ensure the student gets the best lesson experience possible. Recorded Lessons: The student may request a recorded lesson in lieu of an in person lesson. The recorded lesson will consist of a review of the materials from the week prior, along with new assignments to practice over the next week. This will be emailed to you in 24 hours of your normal lesson time. If the instructor fails to send the recorded lesson within 24 hours, you will receive a refund or a credit towards your next lesson. 6. Withdrawal Policy If a student needs to withdraw from lessons for any reason, they must provide the instructor with at least 14 days’ notice prior to the end of their final month. Failure to do so will result in being charged for the following month's tuition.
